The main conference venue is the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE București).
The Palace of the Academy of Commerce is one of the emblematic palaces of Bucharest. Built at the beginning of the century by famous architects, it hosts magnificent and elegant aulas, amphitheaters, conference halls, libraries and study rooms.
The atmosphere is truly inspiring, in the spirit of its founder - the AC having been established on April 6th 1913, by a Royal Decree of King Charles the 1st of Romania, as the first economic higher education institution established in the country.
The present headquarters of Bucharest University of Economic Studies, it welcomes over 22,000 students in 11 faculties.The university has positioned itself as a research institution, hosting 13 centers of research acknowledged and endorsed by the National Council of Scientific Research in Higher Education. A special presence at BUES is the Business Information Technology department that promotes an educational philosophy based on combining economics and software development.
The venue is in the very heart of Bucharest, close to all landmarks of the city – withing walking distance from the recommended hotels. Many bus and metro lines connect it to practically any location.
